Providing sufficient and balanced food in the given climatic conditions and soils is a pressing challenge in the Global South. In the Organic Agriculture Engineering module, students learn how to optimize irrigation systems, how to better utilize climate event information, which crops are particularly valuable for a balanced nutrition, and how to combine different crops to achieve pest resistance and uninterrupted production of plant nutrients. This comprehensive approach enables students to develop sustainable and effective solutions for food production in challenging environments.
